NATICK, Mass., Jan. 10, 2007 - Ten years after the first license of Budget Maestro® was sold, the budgeting and forecasting solution from Centage Corp. continues to make the planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting processes easier, faster and more accurate for small and mid-sized companies in all sectors, Chief Executive Officer Kamran Sassoon announced today.

Implementations of Budget Maestro are growing particularly rapidly in the Medical/Healthcare and Non-profit sectors. The percentage of customers coming from those industries doubled from 2005 to 2006. Strong and steady growth continued in sectors including Software/High-Tech, Manufacturing, Wholesale/Distribution, Construction and Media.

At GISA, Chief Financial Officer Bob Hays switched to Budget Maestro to support the three-year operating budget forecasts required for their strategic planning process. “With spreadsheets, we could only create a ‘global best estimate’ forecast,” said Hays. “Now, we can create a roll-up by business unit to create a much more accurate three-year budget forecast and to present more complete financial estimates for the out years. The next step is to use Budget Maestro to transition into rolling forecasts,” he said.
