Natick, MA (July 7, 2021) – Centage Corporation (www.centage.com), the leading provider of cloud-based intelligent planning solutions for finance teams, announced that it was once again ranked an Overall Leader in both Customer Experience and Vendor Credibility in the 2021 Dresner Advisory Services Wisdom of Crowds® Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Study. Centage also maintained a Perfect Score for Likelihood to Recommend.

“Centage has once again improved its position as a market leader,” said Howard Dresner, founder, and chief research officer at Dresner Advisory Services. “The vendor rankings are based solely on a survey of end users, and Centage continues to show strong performance as an industry leader, with every Centage customer who participated recommending them. We congratulate Centage on its strong performance and leadership position in 2021.”

In this year’s study, Centage scored above the overall sample with improvements across sales, product and value for price categories of measurement. Of specific note within the product scores are key improvements in robustness/sophistication of functionality, completeness of functionality, reliability, scalability, and integration within the product and with third-party technologies. In addition, Centage was acknowledged by Dresner Advisory Services as best in class for sales business practices, follow up after the sale, completeness of product functionality, and overall usability with a 100% recommendation score.

“We are honored to be acknowledged again this year as a leader in experience and credibility and very pleased to see that Centage improved its position in so many categories again this year in Dresner’s 2021 survey,” said Centage CEO, John Murdock. “It demonstrates that the investments we are making in our product and our company are being well received by the market and ever-evolving needs of our customers - it’s rewarding to know our efforts are making a difference. I’m very proud of this latest accomplishment, as it highlights our commitment to providing high value, leading-edge software to our user community.”

The study found that the adoption of enterprise performance management software moderately increased in 2021, further evidence of market maturity. Fifty-one percent of survey respondents indicated they are using this type of software. The study further found that the top three planning priorities remain unchanged from 2020 (annual financial budgets, cash-flow forecasting, and headcount planning). These likely reflect the capabilities that are most valuable in navigating the COVID-19 crisis.
