Jeb Spencer
Jeb is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TVC Capital. He focuses his time and energy on the acquisition of and investment in software and software-enabled services firms. He has proven to be effective in working closely with management teams to rapidly professionalize and grow software companies into leaders in their fields.
Mr. Spencer has had a number of investment successes including the sale of Accordent Technologies to Polycom Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM); the sale of Del Mar Datatrac to Fiserv Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV); the sale of TechnoCom Mobility to Kapsch (Vienna: KTCG); the sale of TechnoCom MRM to CalAmp Corp. (NASDAQ: CAMP) and the sale of Del Mar DataTrac, Inc. to Ellie Mae (NYSE: ELLI). Jeb was Chairman of the Board of all of these companies at the time of exit. He was a co-founder, President and board member of, Inc., which was acquired by Cricket Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: LEAP). Jeb currently serves on the board of directors of Edgewave, Ellie Mae (NYSE: ELLI), ReverseVision, Inc (Chairman), Levels Beyond (Chairman), LocationSmart, Inc. (Chairman), and Halo Business Intelligence, Inc. Mr. Spencer is an honors graduate of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. He attended Oxford University (St. Anne’s College) and graduated with honors from Harvard University, with an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jennifer Heller
Ms. Heller joined Brandywine Group Advisors as its President and Chief Investment Officer in 2012. Previously, Ms. Heller served as an Investment Director at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Ms. Heller began her investing career at the Stanford Management Company. Prior to Stanford, she worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch. Ms. Heller is founder of the Endowment, Foundation, and Family Office Professionals Network. Ms. Heller earned her M.B.A. and her Public Management certificate from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, and her B.A. in Political Economy from Williams College. She serves on the Williams College’s Investment Advisory Committee and the Stanford Business School Trust. She is a CFA® charterholder.

Jared Stone
Jared has served as a Managing Director of Northgate Capital since 2001. He serves on several advisory and company boards. Prior to Northgate, Jared was an associate at Bain Capital. Prior to Bain Capital, Jared was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Jared earned his MBA, with high distinction as a Baker Scholar, from Harvard Business School. He holds a JD from Yale Law School, and a BA in Honors Economics from Brigham Young University, where he graduated valedictorian. While at Yale, he co-founded the Amistad Academy, a New Haven-based charter school recognized by the Connecticut Board of Education and local, regional and national media for closing the achievement gap.

Ken Marshall
Ken has more than thirty years of experience leading high-performing technology companies. He had been introduced to Centage six years ago as an advisor to the company creating a detailed roadmap for the business. Prior to Centage, Ken honed his exceptional leadership skills as a Chairman, CEO and Board member of many technology companies including Correlsense, Carbonflow, Giga Information Group and Object Design. He was also a group Vice President at Oracle Corporation, and founder of Oracle’s consulting services business. Most recently, he was the CEO of QuickPivot, where he remains Chairman and co-founder. Ken holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Northeastern University and a Master’s in Economics from Boston College.

Mykel Sprinkles
Mykel is a Partner at TVC Capital, an operator-led growth equity firm focused on investments in and acquisitions of software companies and software-enabled service firms. Mykel is passionate about helping great companies become category leaders through product innovation, sales and marketing execution, and an acute focus on exceeding customer expectations. He currently serves on the board of directors of HealthCrowd, Levels Beyond, MediaPlatform, Centage and SmartAction, and was previously CFO at Anametrix prior to the company’s acquisition. Mykel received an MBA from London Business School and a BS in Business Administration from University of Richmond.

David Mahoney
David is a management consultant and private investor with a long history of leadership in the software analytics industry. He was most recently the CEO of Applix, a provider of business performance management and business intelligence software. In 2003 Mr. Mahoney became President and CEO of Applix Inc. where he had been a board member since 1991. Applix was acquired by Cognos Inc. in 2007 for $350M representing a 20 times increase in market value in less than five years. Prior to that, he was CEO of Verbind, Inc. a provider of real-time behavioral analytic software and was the founder of Banyan Systems, a pioneer in distributed networking operation systems.

Kamran Sassoon
Kamran was the principal shareholder/owner of Aectra/Refining and Marketing, a petroleum and petrochemical trading and distribution company from 1980-2001 headquartered in Houston, TX, and with offices in Jacksonville, FL and Brussels, Belgium. After building a series of other ventures, he co-founded Centage Corporation to bring innovative financial management solutions to small and mid-sized organizations. Kamran has a Bachelor of Science in Business and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

David Mellstrom, Board Observer

David is a Senior Associate at TVC Capital, where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments in B2B software companies and supporting value creation strategies at TVC’s portfolio companies. He currently serves as a Board Observer at Centage, CreatorIQ, and SmartAction. Prior to joining TVC Capital, David worked at GCA, advising public and private enterprise software companies on M&A transactions and capital raises. Prior to GCA, David worked at Group 11 (f.k.a. SGVC), evaluating and executing investments in early-stage B2B software companies. David holds a M.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of the Trojans football team.
