President and CEO, Barry brings over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business management, of technology based businesses. Beginning with IBM, he has held a succession of jobs with increasing responsibility in software and Internet related businesses. At DigitalGlobe, a satellite imagery company where he served as vice president, he was responsible for $25 million in worldwide sales and support. As vice president at Advanced Electron Beams, a venture-backed maker of electron beam generation equipment for the environmental and sterilization industries, he managed and grew worldwide sales. Most recently, he served as a strategic consultant to accelerate high growth of several early-stage companies, including Boston Technologies, a supplier of hosted services and high-volume transaction processing and execution for the foreign exchange trading market. As President and CEO of Source Recovery Company, an enterprise software tools company, he negotiated its sale to Allen Systems in 2000. Barry has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from Nichols College and an MBA (with Honors) from Babson College.
Executive Vice President and CFO, John has more than 30 years experience in finance, accounting and administration. He has extensive experience working with both high growth Fortune 500 companies and startup business. Prior to Centage, he served as Group Director of Planning & Analysis at WearGuard (subsidiary of ARAMARK) where he was instrumental in driving profitability via restructuring, cost containment and margin improvement initiatives. John has a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Northeastern University and an MBA from New Hampshire College.
Vice President of Engineering, Piyush is responsible for all aspects of product development. Piyush has over 20 years experience leading development teams for enterprise products. He brings deep expertise designing and delivering scalable analytics products, web and cloud-based architectures, OLAP, Big Data, Business Performance Management and Business Intelligence applications. He also has proven experience building and scaling distributed engineering organizations and managing product operations. He has previously held executive and management positions at IBM in the Business Analytics division, Cognos and Applix. Piyush has a Masters degree in engineering from Clarkson University and a Bachelors degree from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India.
Vice President of Sales, John has more than 20 years of experience driving growth in global software and services organizations. In his role as sales leader, Murdock will leverage his channel, SMB, and mid-market expertise to develop new business growth for the Centage suite of products. Before joining Centage, Murdock was Vice President of SMB and Channel Sales at Kaspersky Lab, the world’s largest privately held vendor of endpoint protection solutions. While there, he was named a Channel Chief by CRN Magazine and honored as a 2015 Top Midmarket IT Executive of the Year by the publication, which features the industry’s most influential vendor executives serving midmarket customers. Before joining Kaspersky, Murdock held several key roles at Juniper Networks where he was Senior Director Global Channels and an Americas Commercial and Channel sales manager. Prior to Juniper, he was Sales Manager for QuickPivot, an integrated marketing solutions provider. John has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Northeastern University and studied Business Management & Marketing at Boston University.
Vice President Customer Experience, Chris is leading the charge to ensure every customer experiences the full value of the Budget Maestro Suite and becomes both an expert “a Maestro” and a raving fan. He has more than 20 years of sales, marketing, and customer experience with both software and service companies. He has been instrumental in establishing many of the key relationships Centage has with G/L vendors like Syspro and Sage. He has held a variety of management positions at Centage, Aberdeen Group, SAP America, IDL Systems, Berklee Group, Nematron, and ARC Advisory Group. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from Babson College.
Vice President of Marketing, David has more than 20 years experience helping emerging software and services companies generate demand and build brand awareness. Prior to Centage, he was the director of marketing at Metalogix helping them grow from $8 million in revenue to more than $20 million in three years. Prior to that, he held Senior Marketing Management positions at Kalido, a data warehouse and master data management company, Extraprise, an integrated CRM solutions provider, and Object Design, makers of Object Oriented Database Software. David has an MBA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business and Marketing from Northeastern University.

Jeb is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TVC Capital. He focuses his time and energy on the acquisition of and investment in software and software-enabled services firms. He has proven to be effective in working closely with management teams to rapidly professionalize and grow software companies into leaders in their fields.
Mr. Spencer has had a number of investment successes including the sale of Accordent Technologies to Polycom Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM); the sale of Del Mar Datatrac to Fiserv Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV); the sale of TechnoCom Mobility to Kapsch (Vienna: KTCG); the sale of TechnoCom MRM to CalAmp Corp. (NASDAQ: CAMP) and the sale of Del Mar DataTrac, Inc. to Ellie Mae (NYSE: ELLI). Jeb was Chairman of the Board of all of these companies at the time of exit. He was a co-founder, President and board member of Backwire.com, Inc., which was acquired by Cricket Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: LEAP). Jeb currently serves on the board of directors of Edgewave, Ellie Mae (NYSE: ELLI), ReverseVision, Inc (Chairman), Levels Beyond (Chairman), LocationSmart, Inc. (Chairman), and Halo Business Intelligence, Inc. Mr. Spencer is an honors graduate of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. He attended Oxford University (St. Anne’s College) and graduated with honors from Harvard University, with an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jared has served as a Managing Director of Northgate Capital since 2001. He serves on several advisory and company boards. Prior to Northgate, Jared was an associate at Bain Capital. Prior to Bain Capital, Jared was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Jared earned his MBA, with high distinction as a Baker Scholar, from Harvard Business School. He holds a JD from Yale Law School, and a BA in Honors Economics from Brigham Young University, where he graduated valedictorian. While at Yale, he co-founded the Amistad Academy, a New Haven-based charter school recognized by the Connecticut Board of Education and local, regional and national media for closing the achievement gap.
David is a management consultant and private investor with a long history of leadership in the software analytics industry. He was most recently the CEO of Applix, a provider of business performance management and business intelligence software. In 2003 Mr. Mahoney became President and CEO of Applix Inc. where he had been a board member since 1991. Applix was acquired by Cognos Inc. in 2007 for $350M representing a 20 times increase in market value in less than five years. Prior to that, he was CEO of Verbind, Inc. a provider of real-time behavioral analytic software and was the founder of Banyan Systems, a pioneer in distributed networking operation systems.
Kamran was the principal shareholder/owner of Aectra/Refining and Marketing, a petroleum and petrochemical trading and distribution company from 1980-2001 headquartered in Houston, TX, and with offices in Jacksonville, FL and Brussels, Belgium. After building a series of other ventures, he co-founded Centage Corporation to bring innovative financial management solutions to small and mid-sized organizations. Kamran has a Bachelor of Science in Business and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
