Centage Achieves SOC 2 Certification

Natick, MA (March 9, 2021) – Centage Corporation (www.centage.com), the leading provider of cloud-based intelligent planning solutions for small and medium-size finance teams, today announced it’s successful completion of the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit, earning the company SOC 2 Type 2 certification. The certification comes on the heels of the release of three new editions of Planning Maestro, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to product innovation and deepening it’s relationships with customers and partners.

SOC 2 Type 2 certification, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), evaluates and reports on the effectiveness of a service organization’s data security controls relevant to the safe handling of customer data. The audit and certification imparts confidence to current and prospective customers that their data is protected and secure.

While Centage has always employed best-in-class security and data protection, the AICPA SOC 2 Type 2 certification is independent validation that assures customers that Centage has implemented processes that are effective in protecting all data managed in the cloud, implemented vendor management programs, as well as corporate governance and risk management procedures.

“Security of our customers data is important to building trust and long standing relationships,  I’m proud to say Centage has a mature and robust commitment to protecting customer data and we have put the processes, controls and safeguards in place to achieve this critical third-party certification,” says John Murdock, chief executive officer of Centage. “It validates our ongoing commitment and dedication to data security and privacy, and meeting the compliance needs of our customers as we innovate our products and expand the markets we serve.”
