We are looking for an experienced and flexible IT specialist who is technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate about partnering with a variety of business constituents to ensure their needs are met or exceeded. This role is very hands-on and will require the individual to be the only full-time IT staff member supporting Centage’s roughly 100 employees.

Candidates should have recent, hands-on experience in the following areas:

– Asset Management – Inventory, configuration, purchasing/requisition

– Hardware Experience

  • Telco (Vonage)
  • Networking (internal office space, VPN, wireless, and firewall and networking configuration knowledge)
  • Laptops (PC + Mac + Linux)
  • VMWare Horizon
  • A/V (TVs, projectors, Chromecasts, support for on- and off-site company events)

– Software Experience

  • Antivirus (Carbon Black)
  • Mimecast
  • AT&T Cybersecurity (f/k/a AlienVault)
  • Productivity suite (largely Microsoft)


– On-premise and Azure Active Directory and Group Policy management experience

– Audit Experience – SOC and GDPR, most notably

– On-Site / Remote Support (in/out of Centage office)

– Employee Provisioning / Teardown

– Business continuity planning and execution


  • Manage IT Helpdesk, providing end-user support via ZenDesk ticketing system and acting as a final point of escalation for all issues
  • Ensure compliance with Centage security protocols, including assets and security audits
  • Manage hardware procurement and full lifecycle, including purchasing, asset tracking, deployment, maintenance and recycling of all hardware (employee machines, networking hardware, etc.)
  • Maintain vendor relations for things like hardware, internet and voice services, and other services (determine course of action and manage timelines and scope)
  • Create and maintain budgetary plan and actuals for all hardware

Background and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of experience
  • Hands-on technical leadership experience, with strength in building trusted relationships with all constituents across a mid-sized company
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with help desk support, computer networks, and network (wireless and hard-wired) administration
