Centage’s John Murdock Named 2022 Top 50 SaaS CEOs by The Software Report
Framingham, MA – October 20, 2022 – Centage Corporation (www.centage.com), the leading provider of modern FP&A software solutions for finance teams, announced today that president and CEO John Murdock was named one of The Software Report’s “Top 50 SaaS CEOs of 2022.” The Top 50 SaaS CEOs list is an annual award recognizing chief executive officers in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry who have demonstrated that with strong, innovative leadership, the best software solutions thrive and are rapidly adopted across the global economy.

John was named president and CEO in September 2018, after having served as the company's chief revenue officer. With a background in leading high growth organizations constantly breaking new ground, John feels a strong connection with Centage's mid-market clients, who use Centage software to drive change and better performance in their own companies. During his time in leadership positions at Centage, John has spent time with many customers, understanding their needs and how Centage’s products help them with business growth and planning. As CEO, John has successfully led the organization through a major product transition - from offering a strictly on-prem solution to becoming a 100% SaaS provider - converting existing on-prem customers to the SaaS solution in the process. He also successfully navigated the organization through the global pandemic and transitioned the organization to a full-time remote environment.
The 2022 awardees were selected based on thousands of nominations from colleagues, peers, and other software industry professionals and in-house industry research. Nominees were evaluated closely, with particular attention paid to written commentary and/or independent research, along with further review into each company’s recent achievements to establish the final list.
